About GBI
GBI was founded by Pierce McVeigh in 2023. Pierce is both an electric and acoustic bass player with experience in a wide range of music including Blues, Jazz, Funk, Old Time, Irish and Old Time music. He has been playing the Washtub bass since 2012 and is now manufacturing a range of “Gut Bucket’ instruments. These are not “toys”, they are real instruments made to exacting detail and specifications. Pierce is also a robotic welder working to exacting blueprint engineering plans and state-of-the art technology
